According to conservative orthodoxy, tax cuts will boost the economy and help consumers.
Because when “government is off our backs” (another con homoerotic term), supposedly the tax cut will equal more savings for the consumer.

But now, the airlines have openly declared they’ll just raise prices to surreptitiously ensure consumers get zilch. So consumers got no benefit whatsoever.

@ Excuse Me: And how many passengers are set to fly to Alaska? I’m quite sure “Frontier Airlines” doesn’t operate in Houston. However, pretty much all of the airlines that do operate there are going to keep prices high.

How many American jobs did it cost for the Republican win on the manufactured debt ceiling crisis?

The best case estimate on the FAA shutdown is 25,000 private sector jobs, so, how many jobs will the cuts being forced by the Republicans cost?
The last estimates I heard was best case 1 million private sector jobs worst cased 5 million private sector jobs. On top of the 250,000 federal state and local government jobs that will be lost.
Are these estimates close or do you think they will be better or worse.

Since we’re losing $200 Million/week in FAA tax collections, why won’t GOP House pass new funding legislation?
