Air Starter 2 Repairs
ACR can repair most of the main component piece-parts in the Honeywell and Hamilton Sundstrand/Sumitomo Commercial Aircraft Air Starter Families. These include, but are not limited to, the Housing, the hub gears, the carriers, the drive shafts, the turbine wheels/rotors, and the scrolls/scroll housings. ACR performs OHM repairs as well as ACR-Developed FAA-Approved Process repairs to these units.
Inlet Housing Cracked Braze Joint Repair
Since 1994 ACR has had FAA-Approved repairs to restore an Inlet Housing with cracked braze joints to serviceable condition. ACR has the capability to restore cracked and damaged areas of the Inlet Housing as well. ACR can also perform most OHM repairs to the Inlet Housing.
Deflector Repairs
Since 1987 ACR has had FAA-Approved repairs to restore a Deflector with Cutting Ring or Seal Face wear/damage to serviceable condition. ACR has the capability to repair cracking and/or dents in the deflector as well. ACR can also perform most OHM repairs.
Transmission Housing Repairs
Since 1994 ACR has had FAA-Approved repairs to restore a Starter Transmission Housing with wear and/or damage to serviceable condition. ACR has the capability to repair cracks and/or Threaded Boss damage and other miscellaneous damage to the Starter Transmission Housing as well. ACR can also perform most OHM repairs.
Gear Housing Repairs
Since 1994 ACR has had FAA-Approved repairs to restore a Starter Gear Housing with wear and/or damage to serviceable condition. ACR has the capability to repair cracks and/or Threaded Boss damage and other miscellaneous damage to the Starter Gear Housing as well. ACR can also perform most OHM repairs.
Inlet Housing Repairs
Since 1996 ACR has had FAA-Approved repairs to restore a Starter Inlet Housing with wear and/or damage to the vanes, cutting ring, ID bore and/or contour to serviceable condition. ACR has the capability to repair flange or exhaust ring damage and other miscellaneous damage to the Starter Inlet Housing as well. ACR can also perform most OHM repairs.
Exhaust Housing Repairs
Since 1996 ACR has had FAA-Approved repairs to restore a Starter Exhaust Housing with wear and/or damage to the vanes, cutting ring, ID bore and/or contour to serviceable condition. ACR has the capability to repair dents and/or cracks as well as other miscellaneous damage to the Starter Transmission Housing as well. ACR can also perform most OHM repairs.
Miscellaneous Air Starter Repairs
Since 1976 ACR has been developing repairs for Commercial Aircraft Air Starters. In addition to the parts shown above, we have performed our repairs on a number of other parts and we continue to develop new repairs monthly for the ever-changing needs of the industry.
