CSD/IDG Parts Repair

ACR can repair a variety of piece-parts in the Lucas and  Hamilton-Sundstrand Constant Speed Drive (CSD) and Integrated Drive Generator (IDG) units. Over the years, we have developed a reputation for our FAA-Approved Cylinder Block Bore re-sleeving repair as well as our ability to perform standard and salvage repairs to the CSD and IDG housings.

CSD/IDG Repairs for the Following Types:

- SUNDSTRAND 40AGD-SERIES CSD’s and 60AGD-SERIES CSD’s
- SUNDSTRAND 90IDG-SERIES and 90EGS-SERIES IDG’s

Cylinder Block Repairs

Since 1994 ACR has had an FAA-Approved Repair to Re-Sleeve the Cylinder Block Bores. ACR-restored Cylinder Blocks have a long-term demonstrated track record of performing as well or better than new Cylinder Blocks.  Since initiating this repair in 1977, ACR has performed well over 7500 of these repairs for most aircraft types, and since 1996 ACR has performed this repair for the Lucas IDG Cylinder Blocks used on the British Aerospace Concorde SST.

CSG/IDG Parts Repair

For many years ACR has performed repairs to the CSD Input Housing.  Everything from the repair of severely damaged Input Housings to those simply requiring Bearing Liner Replacement.  ACR’s unique experience in developing and performing these repairs has been beneficial to customers requiring the salvage of their units.  ACR also performs most OHM repairs to the Input Housing.

CSD Output Housing Repairs

For many years ACR has performed repairs to the CSD Output Housing.  Everything from the repair of severely damaged Output Housings to those simply requiring Bearing Liner Replacement.  ACR’s unique experience in developing and performing these repairs has been beneficial to customers requiring the salvage of their units.  ACR also performs most OHM repairs to the Output Housing.

IDG Stator Housing Repairs

For many years ACR has performed repairs to the IDG Stator Housing.  Everything from the repair of severely damaged Stator Housings to those simply requiring Bearing Liner Replacement.  ACR’s unique experience in developing and performing these repairs has been beneficial to customers requiring the salvage of their units.  ACR also performs most OHM repairs to the Stator Housing.

IDG End Housing Repairs

For many years ACR has performed repairs to the IDG End Housing.  Everything from the repair of severely damaged End Housings to those simply requiring Bearing Liner Replacement.  ACR’s unique experience in developing and performing these repairs has been beneficial to customers requiring the salvage of their units.  ACR also performs most OHM repairs to the End Housing.

IDG Mounting Housing Repairs
