ACR has performed and developed many repairs for valve bodies and flappers. We perform OHM as well as ACR-Developed repairs to the main bores and the bearing bores alike. Our unique approach of removing a minimum of parent material and matching the bushings to suit the flappers has earned us a strong reputation as a Repair vendor dedicated to saving the customer time and money.

Valve Body Repairs
Since 1976 ACR has been repairing valve bodies for the world’s airlines. ACR’s FAA-Approved processes have enabled us to develop numerous repairs to the main bore, bearing bores, or flanges. ACR’s approved processes include using Tig welding, EB welding, chrome plating, and application of metal spray to return the valve bodies to serviceable condition.
ACR’s in-house developed repairs encompass most valve types including IP Check Valve Bodies, Flow Bodies, 3-way valve bodies, and most standard small and large bore valve bodies.
The systems covered nearly every system within the airplane from the air-conditioning system to the hot gas systems off of the engine, and from the APU exhaust sytem to the waste water system.
ACR also performs most OHM repairs to valve bodies.
Shaft Repairs
ACR also performs repairs to the valve shafts. Whether through chrome plating, metal spray application or welding and machining, ACR-restored shafts have been revolutionary in their longevity and quality.

Flapper Repairs
Since early in our history ACR has had repairs to restore the sealing surface and bearing bores of flappers to serviceable condition through FAA-Approved processes. ACR-restored flappers have a long-term, demonstrated track record of performing as well or better than new ones.
